Job summary

Serco is seeking a Regional Manager to lead health services delivery across the NNSW region. You will work with Defence stakeholders, operational teams and partners to strengthen relationships and improve performance.

The role combines leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and communities in a dynamic public sector context.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead dispersed teams in health/defence settings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication and decisive decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with autonomy and strategic thinking.
• Experience in healthcare, Defence, or complex service environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead service delivery across the NNSW region, liaising with Defence stakeholders and partners.
• Drive engagement with Operations Coordinators to improve regional performance.
• Oversee compliance across operations, rostering and clinical standards.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and cross-team collaboration.
• Prioritise multiple work streams to meet operational deadlines.

As a Regional Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading service delivery across the NNSW region within our Defence Health Services contract. You’ll work closely with Defence stakeholders, operational teams, and partners to strengthen relationships and improve performance. This role offers a balance of leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for our customers and communities.

As a Regional Manager in the ADF Health Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

• Building strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and partners.
• Leading and supporting Operations Coordinators to drive engagement.
• Improving service delivery and regional performance outcomes.
• Overseeing compliance across operations, rostering, and clinical standards.
• Driving positive workplace culture and team collaboration.
• Managing multiple priorities to meet operational deadlines.
