Job summary

NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Manager Reconstruction Coordination to lead regional infrastructure recovery efforts from Lismore, working with councils, state agencies and partners to deliver DRFA-funded programs.

You will provide strategic oversight, engage with engineering and asset management stakeholders, and drive outcomes through collaboration, risk management and strong leadership in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management, asset management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering outcomes within infrastructure, engineering, asset management, construction or disaster recovery programs.
• Experience working with local government and/or state infrastructure agencies on complex infrastructure programs.
• Understanding of infrastructure project delivery, asset management principles and disaster recovery funding environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience leading teams and achieving outcomes through influence and collaboration.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional infrastructure reconstruction coordination across the North Region.
• Collaborate with councils, state agencies and emergency partners to support disaster recovery and reconstruction outcomes.
• Provide strategic oversight of DRFA-funded programs and support asset owners to address delivery challenges.
• Build relationships and provide practical advice across infrastructure reconstruction programs.
• Identify risks, resolve issues, and enable delivery through effective governance and stakeholder engagement.
