You will provide strategic oversight, engage with engineering and asset management stakeholders, and drive outcomes through collaboration, risk management and strong leadership in a dynamic environment.
The Manager Reconstruction Coordination leads regional infrastructure reconstruction coordination activities across the North Region. Working closely with local councils, state infrastructure agencies and emergency management partners, the role supports disaster preparedness, infrastructure recovery and reconstruction outcomes.
The position provides strategic oversight of Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) funded programs, supports asset owners to address delivery challenges, and facilitates coordination across government to maximise infrastructure reconstruction outcomes.
Leading a team of Reconstruction Coordination professionals, you will build strong relationships with councils, infrastructure agencies and delivery partners, providing a trusted source of advice and support across infrastructure reconstruction programs. The role requires a strong understanding of infrastructure delivery environments and the ability to engage confidently with engineering, project management, asset management and executive stakeholders.
You will support councils and state agencies to successfully deliver reconstruction programs through coordination, issue resolution and capability development, while maintaining accountability for project delivery with the relevant asset owner.
You are a collaborative and influential leader with experience working in infrastructure, engineering, project delivery, asset management or disaster recovery environments.
You have a strong track record of building productive relationships with local government, state agencies and delivery partners to achieve shared outcomes. You can quickly establish credibility with infrastructure and engineering professionals, understand the challenges associated with asset delivery and reconstruction programs, and translate technical issues into practical advice and solutions.
You bring excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple organisations and levels of government. You are comfortable operating in complex and dynamic environments, balancing strategic priorities with operational demands while navigating competing stakeholder interests.
You can identify risks, remove barriers and provide practical advice to support successful infrastructure reconstruction outcomes, drawing on a sound understanding of project delivery, asset management and infrastructure governance.
