Job summary

NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is seeking a Project Manager based in Queanbeyan to coordinate and deliver infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery. You will lead a small team of project managers, manage scope, programme, risk and commercial performance, and oversee procurement and contracts to support successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in civil, water, wastewater or similar infrastructure.
• Relevant trade, post-trade or tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, project management or a related discipline.
• A valid NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the region, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver projects for clients from planning through to delivery.
• Lead a small team of construction project managers on projects end-to-end, managing scope, programme, risk and commercial performance.
• Lead procurement and contracts; support a high-performing team environment.
• Coordinate handover, defects management and project close-out.
