Job summary

Persol Executive has been engaged to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for an established HVAC manufacturer with local engineering capabilities and global group backing. The role is based in Brisbane, overseeing the Northern Region across NSW, Queensland and the Northern Territory, with hands-on field leadership and a focus on growth and margin improvement.

You will join a team with strong client relationships and technical expertise, driving regional sales plans, coaching, and pipeline

Qualifications

• Sales leadership experience within HVAC, air distribution, building services or closely related technical sector.
• Hands-on field sales management experience, including joint customer visits and practical coaching.
• Demonstrated success developing salespeople at different stages of their careers.
• Commercial judgement across gross margin management, pricing and negotiation.
• Experience improving sales processes and CRM adoption, Salesforce experience highly regarded.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management and key account development skills.
• The ability to lead across locations, develop emerging leaders and travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the regional sales team through regular coaching, clear expectations and individual development plans.
• Working alongside salespeople in the field to strengthen customer engagement, negotiation and business development skills.
• Developing regional sales plans aligned with national strategy and market opportunities.
• Delivering sales and gross margin targets through sound pricing, discount management and product mix.
• Strengthening relationships with mechanical contractors, strategic customers and key accounts.
• Supporting major project pursuits, tenders, quotations and commercial negotiations.
• Leading Salesforce adoption to improve pipeline visibility, opportunity management and forecast accuracy.
• Improving quotation follow-up, customer communication and coordination between sales, product and engineering teams.
• Developing emerging leaders and building long-term team capability.
