Job summary

JD Refrigerated Transport – Archerfield QLD is seeking an experienced Linehaul HC Driver to join our team. You will report to the Operations Manager at Archerfield and conduct intrastate runs to Roma, Mt Isa, Charters Towers, and Rockhampton backloads as required.

Departs on a Friday and returns on a Tuesday. This full-time role offers kms-based pay with unload and overnight allowances; public holidays may attract additional rates.

Qualifications

HC/MC license and regional delivery experience required.
Safety is a top priority on the road and in the workplace.
Reliability and punctuality are essential to meet delivery targets.
Customer service mindset with good communication and organisation.
Integrity and professionalism in all duties.
Strong passion for delivering great service and smooth operations.
Excellent driving history is preferred.

Responsibilities

Incident-free operations with support from the JDRT team.
Multi-drop deliveries to customer sites.
Hand unload using electric pallet jack.
Cold chain management and temperature compliance with training.
Accurate paperwork in line with company policy.
Vehicle care and routine maintenance to keep fleet in good condition.
