JD Refrigerated Transport in Archerfield is seeking experienced HC Drivers to join our growing, family-owned team. The role involves transporting refrigerated freight to distribution centres and retail customers across Brisbane with a Monday–Friday roster and an afternoon shift starting at 2:00pm.

Qualifications

• HC or MC licence required.
• Proven HC driving experience.
• Refrigerated transport and/or DC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive HC vehicle transporting refrigerated freight to distribution centres and retail customers.
• Depot-to-DC and DC deliveries.
• Load and secure freight per procedures.
• Maintain cold chain and food safety requirements.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Conduct pre-starts and daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment care and professionalism.

JD Refrigerated Transport is a growing, family-owned refrigerated transport business servicing customers across Southeast Queensland.

We are looking for experienced HC Drivers to join our team at Archerfield, working with major customers transporting chilled and frozen freight to distribution centres and retail customers across Brisbane.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for transporting refrigerated freight from our customer sites and depots to distribution centres and retail customers across Brisbane Metro.

Depending on the position, your shift may include:

• Depot-to-DC and Retail DC deliveries
• Transporting chilled and frozen freight safely and efficiently
• Loading and securing freight in accordance with procedures
• Maintaining cold chain and food safety requirements
• Completing delivery documentation accurately
• Conducting pre-starts and daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle and equipment care
• Representing JD Refrigerated Transport professionally with customers
• Following all safety, fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures

These are primarily consistent depot-to-DC and DC delivery roles, rather than traditional multi-drop delivery work.
