JD Refrigerated Transport – Archerfield is seeking an experienced HC Driver to join our family-owned team. You will transport refrigerated freight across Brisbane, ensuring cold chain integrity from depots to distribution centres and retail locations.

This role offers a stable Monday–Friday day shift with strong earning potential, weekly pay, and a supportive, growing family business. Weekend work is available for extra hours and pay, with paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Current HC or MC licence.
• Proven HC driving experience.
• Refrigerated transport and/or DC experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to safe, incident-free operations.
• Excellent reliability and punctuality.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-customer and Retail DC deliveries.
• Transporting chilled and frozen freight safely and efficiently.
• Loading and securing freight in accordance with procedures.
• Maintaining cold chain and food safety requirements.
• Completing delivery documentation accurately.
• Conducting pre-starts and daily vehicle checks.
• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle and equipment care.
• Representing JD Refrigerated Transport professionally with customers.
• Following all safety, fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures.

JD Refrigerated Transport is a growing, family-owned refrigerated transport business servicing customers across Southeast Queensland.

We are looking for an experienced HC Driver to join our team at Archerfield, working with major customers transporting chilled and frozen freight to distribution centres and retail customers across Brisbane.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for transporting refrigerated freight from our customer sites and depots to distribution centres and retail customers across Brisbane and outer regions.

• Depot-to-customer and Retail DC deliveries
• Transporting chilled and frozen freight safely and efficiently
• Loading and securing freight in accordance with procedures
• Maintaining cold chain and food safety requirements
• Completing delivery documentation accurately
• Conducting pre-starts and daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle and equipment care
• Representing JD Refrigerated Transport professionally with customers
• Following all safety, fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures

This is primarily a consistent depot-to-customer and DC delivery roles, rather than traditional multi-drop delivery work.
