Job summary

Jps Medical Recruitment is seeking FRACS-qualified General Surgeons for a full-time role at a regional referral hospital in Victoria. The department handles elective and emergency general surgery across a large regional catchment, with autonomy within a structured MDT.

This position offers operative variety, continuity of care, and long-term regional stability, with support for interstate or international applicants through RACS and AHPRA pathways.

Qualifications

• FRACS in General Surgery or equivalent recognised by RACS.
• AHPRA Specialist Registration or eligible to obtain it.
• IMGs assessed as substantially/comparable by RACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad mix of elective and emergency general surgery.
• Practice with clinical autonomy within an MDT framework.
• Participate in perioperative care, endoscopy, and ICU integration.
