JPS Executive Search & Selection Pty Ltd is assisting in recruiting a General Surgeon to join a busy regional surgical service in north-west Victoria. You will work with experienced consultant surgeons across elective and emergency general surgery, trauma, endoscopy, and perioperative management.

The role offers exposure to a broad caseload, strong consultant support, relocation assistance and initial accommodation support, with a permanent staff specialist appointment.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Specialist registration is required.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) in General Surgery is required.
• Significant experience in contemporary General Surgical practice is required.
• Strong interest in regional practice is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across elective and emergency general surgery, including acute presentations and trauma.
• Engage in endoscopy and perioperative management with supportive consultants.
• Work within a busy regional surgical service with a broad caseload.
