Job summary

Seek.com.au is seeking a General Manager for a multi-site hydraulics and fluid power services portfolio in Sydney. You will own performance, lead a local team and strengthen customer relationships while collaborating with national leaders to drive sustainable growth.

You will manage forecasts, budgets and long-term plans, and oversee safety, quality and service delivery across all sites, while developing leaders and aligning with the group’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership with P&L accountability across a portfolio of sites.
• Proven track record delivering business plans and budgets.
• Strong commercial acumen including forecasting, margins and working capital.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the plan, budget and performance commitments for your portfolio.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, productivity and service delivery across sites.
• Manage forecasts, financials and forward-looking performance.
• Drive customer growth, retention and pipeline in local market.
• Lead and develop local leadership team and succession plans.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental and compliance standards.
• Develop longer-term site and branch plans across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with peers to share capabilities and support national growth.
