Job summary

Guang Yu 2009 Pty Ltd, trading as Gooda Creek Mushrooms, invites applications for a hands-on Bookkeeper in Murrumbateman, NSW. Responsible for day-to-day financial records, AP/AR, payroll and statutory reporting, you will work with our Office Administrator and external Accountant to keep the business compliant and efficient.

The role requires experience in bookkeeping, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Xero or MYOB.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Bookkeeping or related discipline (or reasonable employment experience).
• Relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounts or financial administration.
• Experience with Xero/MYOB and Excel.
• Sound understanding of AP/AR, payroll and BAS/GST processes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to reside in Murrumbateman, NSW.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and timely.
• Maintain the general ledger and code all transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank, credit card and supplier accounts.
• Process weekly/fortnightly payroll for farm and admin staff.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and PAYG with external Accountant.
• Support GST, superannuation and other statutory obligations.
