Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a proactive Bookkeeper to join our Business Advisory team in Wagga Wagga. You will provide bookkeeping, payroll and compliance services to a diverse range of local clients, helping them maintain accurate financial records and make informed business decisions.

You will be organized, detail‑oriented and client facing, with experience in Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks, and hold a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience within a public practice accounting firm.
• Knowledge of cloud accounting applications and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client bookkeeping records and reconciliations.
• Process payroll and STP reporting.
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with management reporting.
• Support clients using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and other accounting software’s.
• Respond to client queries and provide ongoing support.
• Work with accountants and advisors to meet client needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes.
• Deliver exceptional client service.
