Job summary

Northern Territory Government seeks an experienced Regional Executive Director for Big Rivers (Katherine). This role drives whole-of-government priorities, builds partnerships across government, industry and communities, and provides strategic regional advice to inform decisions.

You will lead economic planning and coordinate across agencies to progress major regional projects, delivering value for the Katherine region and its diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in regional economic development and policy implementation.
• Strong collaborative skills across agencies and stakeholder groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• High political awareness and whole-of-government perspective.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-of-government coordination to deliver NT priorities across the region.
• Build strategic partnerships across government, industry and communities to identify opportunities and address regional challenges.
• Represent the Northern Territory Government at key regional forums and stakeholder engagements.
• Provide strategic regional advice and insights to inform government decisions, policies and reforms.
• Drive regional economic planning and opportunities for regional growth and investment.
• Champion regional priorities and work with lead agencies to progress significant projects and initiatives.
