Job summary

MADEC Australia seeks an Area Manager to lead Employment Services operations across Shepparton and Echuca. Based in the region, you will build capable teams, drive performance and ensure high‑quality service delivery that meets contractual requirements.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will manage a high‑performing team of Job Coaches and administration staff, oversee budgets, and collaborate with employers and community partners to strengthen participant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team across multiple sites.
• Strong commercial judgement and financial management skills.
• Ability to drive program performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• leading, coaching and developing a high‑performing team of Job Coaches and administration staff across multiple sites;
• driving performance across participant engagement, employment placements and sustainable outcomes, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement;
• managing financial forecasting, budgets and performance reporting, translating data into meaningful action;
• utilising performance data, reporting systems and technology to drive operational improvement;
• ensuring high‑quality service delivery and compliance with contractual and government program requirements;
• collaborating with Workforce Partners, Community Liaison Officers, Activity Coordinators and wellbeing practitioners to strengthen participant outcomes;
• building productive relationships with employers, training providers and community organisations;
• championing continuous improvement, operational efficiency and a positive, accountable workplace culture.
