Job summary
HealthX is recruiting an Emergency Registered Nurse for multiple locations across Southern New South Wales Local Health District. Short-term regional contracts offer competitive pay, travel, accommodation, and meal reimbursement, with a completion bonus on contract finish.
Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration and at least 1 year of ED nursing experience, with ALS and strong resuscitation/triage skills. Australian working rights are required for these contract roles.
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1).
- Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
- ALS certification and strong resuscitation/triage skills.
- Australian working rights (non-sponsorship position due to contract timeframe).
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency and acute nursing care.
- Conduct triage, resuscitation, and emergency interventions.
- Perform cannulation, venepuncture, and medication administration.
- Monitor and respond to clinical deterioration using escalation pathways.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NSW Health protocols.
