Job summary

HealthX is recruiting an Emergency Registered Nurse for multiple locations across Southern New South Wales Local Health District. Short-term regional contracts offer competitive pay, travel, accommodation, and meal reimbursement, with a completion bonus on contract finish.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration and at least 1 year of ED nursing experience, with ALS and strong resuscitation/triage skills. Australian working rights are required for these contract roles.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1).
• Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• ALS certification and strong resuscitation/triage skills.
• Australian working rights (non-sponsorship position due to contract timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency and acute nursing care.
• Conduct triage, resuscitation, and emergency interventions.
• Perform cannulation, venepuncture, and medication administration.
• Monitor and respond to clinical deterioration using escalation pathways.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NSW Health protocols.

About the Role

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across a range of hospital settings within Southern NSW. You will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care in fast-paced Emergency Departments while supporting local teams and communities.
