Job summary

Lumia Care is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a range of contract opportunities across South Australia, including Port Lincoln, Yorketown, Tumby Bay, Cummins, Mount Gambier, Ceduna, Maitland, Cleve and Riverton Hospital.

Start dates from mid-September through December, with flexible durations from 4 weeks to 3 months. Travel and accommodation are covered, and competitive agency rates apply.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ recent ED experience.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Competence in Triage, Resuscitation, and Cannulation.

Responsibilities

• Triage & assessment of patients with acute and emergency presentations.
• Deliver safe, timely, high‑quality care in dynamic ED settings.
• Respond to trauma and resuscitation scenarios.
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and infection‑control standards.
• Provide patient education and reassurance during high‑stress situations.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a range of contract opportunities across South Australia, including Port Lincoln, Yorketown, Tumby Bay, Cummins, Mount Gambier, Ceduna, Maitland, Cleve, and Riverton Hospital.

Contracts are available from mid-September through to December, with opportunities starting from 15 September onward. Start and finish dates are flexible and negotiable, making these roles ideal for nurses seeking short-term or extended contracts.
