Job summary

Isaac Regional Council in Moranbah/Dysart is seeking an Experienced Electrician to support Water and Waste infrastructure across multiple sites. The role involves hands-on electrical installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You'll work flexibly in Moranbah or Dysart, travel across the Isaac region, participate in on-call rosters and contribute to planned maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Hold Electrical Trade qualifications and relevant licensing.
• Possess a C Class Driver Licence and General Induction Card.
• Ability to obtain Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus immunisations.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical systems.
• Apply knowledge of Electrical Safety Act, Regulations, standards and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using testing equipment.
• Participate in planned and preventive maintenance programs.
• Inspect and verify electrical work for regulatory compliance.
• Travel across the Isaac region and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical, maintenance and installation support across diverse sites.
• Work within a team with strong communication and safety focus.
• Support contract management, programming and scheduling of works with accurate reporting.
• Be willing to travel to various sites and participate in on-call roster.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to reliability improvements.
