Peter Warren Automotive Holdings is seeking a Dealer Principal to oversee five franchises across Bathurst and Cowra, delivering profitable operations and strong customer service.

This regional leadership role requires hands-on, strategic oversight of new-vehicle operations, supplier relationships, and team development, with autonomy and group-level support.

Job description

Two Toyota dealerships. A Volkswagen franchise. MG and Geely rooftops. Spread across Bathurst and Cowra, this is a Dealer Principal opportunity of a scale that simply does not come around often in regional Australia, and Peter Warren Automotive is looking to speak with leaders who recognise exactly what that means.

About the role

Overseeing five franchises across two thriving regional centres, this is the kind of multi-site, multi-brand leadership role that defines a career rather than just filling a chapter of it.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading new vehicle operations across two Toyota dealerships, one Volkswagen, one MG and one Geely rooftop, giving you rare breadth across some of the most talked-about brands in the Australian market right now
• Setting the cultural and commercial tone across Bathurst and Cowra, with each location contributing to a combined result you can genuinely call your own
• Building and developing teams across multiple sites, with the kind of leadership footprint that accelerates your own growth as much as theirs
• Managing manufacturer relationships across four distinct brands, each with their own expectations and opportunities, keeping the role genuinely varied
• Driving dealership profitability and reporting into the broader Peter Warren Automotive group, with access to peer networks and group-level support that few regional operators can access
• Cementing the reputation of each location within its community, across two of Central West NSW's most connected regional towns

About you

You are a senior automotive leader who has already proven you can run a dealership well, and you are ready for a challenge that matches your actual ceiling.

We are keen to hear from you if you bring:

• Substantial experience in a Dealer Principal or senior General Manager role, ideally across more than one franchise
• A commercial mindset that is equally comfortable reading a consolidated P and L as it is walking a showroom floor
• The ability to lead dispersed teams with consistency, building trust across locations without being everywhere at once
• Experience managing OEM relationships, with an understanding of how to work constructively within manufacturer frameworks
• A genuine interest in regional markets and what makes them different from metro operations
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Previous Toyota experience is not essential, but is considered favourably
