Job summary

Mater Foundation in Rockhampton is seeking a Community Relationship Manager to grow support for life-changing healthcare across Central Queensland. This full-time, permanent role focuses on building relationships with clinicians, supporters, community groups and local stakeholders to identify fundraising opportunities and inspire philanthropic investment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in relationship management or fundraising.
• Experience in fundraising, community development, events or project management.
• Experience with CRM databases and MS Office.
• Not-for-profit/philanthropy knowledge preferred.
• Strong network in Rockhampton/Central Queensland is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with community fundraisers, local businesses, service clubs and organisations.
• Support fundraisers and event participants with guidance, resources and stewardship.
• Coordinate campaigns, third-party fundraising, peer-to-peer events and community initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to grow participation, engagement and fundraising income.
• Represent Mater Foundation at events, acting as an ambassador.
• Collaborate with internal teams on donor-focused initiatives.
• Maintain supporter records and monitor fundraising activity.
• Refer major donors and corporate partners to relevant teams.
• Support community events across North Queensland as required.
