Job summary

Mission Australia Housing in Darwin seeks a leadership professional to design and deliver regional community development plans that reflect local needs. You will support tenant committees and launch community-led initiatives to create opportunities for connection, growth and independence.

You will partner with Housing Services and Asset Management to deliver an integrated, people-first approach, ensuring compliance and meaningful impact for communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Ter tiary qualification in relevant field required.
• Experience in community development and housing services preferred.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver regional community development plans.
• Support tenant committees to launch community-led initiatives.
• Use data to evaluate outcomes and demonstrate value of development work.
• Encourage tenant participation and connect people with services.
• Develop relationships with local government, partners and communities.
• Align local area plans with national business plans and deliver local service.
• Collaborate with Housing and Asset Management to meet compliance.
