Job summary

Junction Australia, a leading South Australian community housing provider, is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead redevelopment and growth projects across the state.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, Delivery, you will manage budgets, procurement, contracts and consultants, while developing a small team and building strong stakeholder relationships to deliver safe, affordable housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in property, construction, finance or related discipline.
• Experience in development or project management within a developer, consultancy or construction environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in social or affordable housing is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of redevelopment and growth projects across the state.
• Oversee projects from feasibility through to completion, including budgets, procurement, contracts and consultants.
• Manage budgets, procurement, contracts and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide leadership to a small development team and ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

As their housing portfolio continues to grow, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Development Manager to play a key role in delivering impactful housing outcomes across the state.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, Delivery, you will lead the planning and delivery of redevelopment and growth projects while providing leadership to a small development team. You will oversee projects from feasibility through to completion, managing budgets, procurement, contracts, consultants and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen, project management expertise and the ability to build productive relationships. You will contribute to strategic growth initiatives while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified in a property, construction, finance or related discipline and demonstrate experience in development or project management within a developer, consultancy or construction environment. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be essential. Experience in social or affordable housing will be highly regarded.
