Job summary

BYD in Sydney is seeking a sales and business development professional to drive energy storage solutions in the Australian market. The role focuses on achieving regional targets, nurturing key accounts, and promoting BYD’s solar and energy storage products at events and through partner channels.

The successful candidate will support after-sales teams, share product feedback for development, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in residential energy storage or related electrical engineering field.
• Proven ability to develop and manage key customer relationships.
• Strong promotional skills for brand and product through events.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales targets and business development plans for the designated city/region.
• Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Promote brand and products via exhibitions, training, roadshows, and related activities.
• Support local after-sales teams in resolving product quality issues.
• Provide product feedback from research for new development and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams locally.
• Timely handling of daily customer issues and complaints.
