Regional BDM VIC, SA, TAS | Industrial Equipment & Parts | High Autonomy & Flexibility
Why You'll Love This Opportunity
What if you could have the freedom to run your own territory, the backing of an established business, and a genuinely great team that trusts you to get on with the job?
We're partnering with a well-established and respected supplier of specialist polyethylene and piping products, supporting customers across Australia's water, gas, mining, agricultural and infrastructure sectors.
With a strong national presence and continued growth, the business has recently expanded its Victorian operations, and things are going from strength to strength!
Due to this growth, a brand-new Regional BDM position has been created.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a substantial territory, build on an established customer base and drive new business across Victoria, South Australia, the ACT and Tasmania.
But here's what really makes this opportunity special...
The culture!
This is a business where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. The leadership team is approachable, down-to-earth and incredibly supportive.
There's no appetite for micromanagement or someone breathing down your neck.
Instead, you'll be trusted to manage your territory, build relationships and get results in a way that works for you.
There's genuine flexibility, an understanding that life and family commitments matter, and a team that works together rather than in silos.
And they certainly know how to look after their people! Think Friday lunches, birthday leave, company dinners, Christmas celebrations and those little extras that make employees feel appreciated.
You’ll be joining a company that’s growing, a team that has your back, and a role where you can genuinely make your mark.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused position offering a great balance of new business development and existing account management.
You'll have the freedom to plan your own territory, spend time in front of customers and identify opportunities to grow the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
You’ll spend much of your time out in the market, meeting customers and building relationships, with considerable freedom to organise your schedule around business opportunities.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be chained to a desk. It’s about being out there, building relationships and making things happen!
You'll ideally bring 10+ years of experience across technical sales, business development or account management, with strong knowledge of polyethylene components and associated products.
Your background may be in industrial equipment, parts, polyethylene, piping, plumbing supplies, water infrastructure, industrial products, mining, utilities or another closely related technical market.
While direct industry knowledge would be fantastic, we’re also interested in hearing from accomplished technical sales professionals from adjacent industries who have the commercial ability and aptitude to learn.
Just as importantly, personality matters!
We’re looking for someone who is driven and commercially switched on, but also easygoing, approachable and a genuine team player.
You’ll enjoy having the freedom to make your own decisions, take responsibility for your results and work with people who trust you to do your job.
If you’re the kind of person who thrives without micromanagement, enjoys building relationships and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to‑earth business, you’ll fit right in!
It’s not every day you find a company that combines genuine autonomy, a laid‑back and supportive culture, great employee benefits and the opportunity to build something of your own.
You’ve already built the experience. Now imagine putting it to work somewhere you’re trusted, appreciated and given the freedom to succeed.
It’s a brand-new opportunity to grow your career and support the business.
