Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join the Gladstone Operations team in a permanent full-time capacity. Based locally in Gladstone, you will oversee maintenance, shutdown and project-related works at a major industrial facility.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on team development, safe delivery, and building strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a trade-based supervisory role within shutdown, maintenance or project environments.
• Experience in heavy industrial sectors (mineral processing, power, chemicals).
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling and resource coordination.

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to join our Gladstone Operations team in a permanent full-time capacity.

Based locally in Gladstone, you'll play a pivotal leadership role overseeing maintenance, shutdown and project-related works across a major industrial processing facility.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coordinate and supervise mechanical and multidisciplinary work crews.
• Plan and schedule work activities to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Allocate resources, equipment and personnel to meet operational requirements.
• Mentor, coach and develop team members while promoting a positive safety culture.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and engagement.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and resource challenges.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports and project records.

What you will bring

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a trade-based supervisory role within shutdown, maintenance or project environments.
• Experience working in alumina, minerals processing, chemical, power generation or similar heavy industrial sectors.
• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling and resource coordination skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Full Australian working rights.
