Job summary

Alzheimer's Queensland is seeking an experienced community-services leader to manage and grow our Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services across the Darling Downs region, based at Toowoomba Multi Service Centre.

Reporting to the State Manager - Queensland & New South Wales, you will be accountable for service delivery, client engagement, financial and workforce performance, quality, community engagement and sustainable growth, with opportunities to build on an established service and

Qualifications

Significant leadership experience in community aged care, health, disability or another funded community service.
Experience managing government-funded programs, preferably CHSP.
Responsible for budgets, workforce performance and service outcomes.
Ability to grow services and increase client participation.
Experience leading and developing care teams.
Strong governance, quality, compliance and risk-management capability.
Commercial judgement and data-driven decision making.
Visible, practical and accountable leadership style.
Strong community engagement and stakeholder-management skills.
Current driver’s licence, unrestricted working rights and ability to travel throughout the region.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of CHSP community programs across Toowoomba.
Ensure clients have access to meaningful, personalised activities based on their interests, abilities and enjoyment.
Lead and support care teams to deliver responsive, high-quality services.
Oversee budgets, funded outputs, service utilisation and operational performance.
Grow client participation and ensure available funding is used effectively.
Strengthen referral pathways and build trusted community and government relationships.
Ensure compliance with funding agreements, quality standards and reporting requirements.
Monitor client outcomes, feedback, complaints and incidents.
Improve systems, service efficiency and consistency.
Work closely with Finance, People & Culture and Clinical Governance.
Contribute to broader regional and organisational priorities.
