• Experience in planning and product development in insurance.

• Knowledge reading and analysing financial statements.
• Regulatory and compliance awareness in insurance.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal A&H business per allocated authority.
• Achieve planned underwriting results and identify requirements.
• Lead and manage Region A&H underwriters and ensure policy compliance.
• Own the A&H Region Growth Strategy and distribution strategy.
• Provide monthly End of Month reporting for the Region A&H book.
• Collaborate with regional and local managers on operating plans.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide direction to the local underwriting team to meet objectives.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure accurate peer sheets.
• Develop annual and long-term operating plans with regional leadership.
• Drive multi-line growth and build regional relationships.
• Identify producer relationships and opportunities for distribution.
