Job summary

Nickel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic in Melbourne to service, diagnose, repair and maintain heating and cooling systems across a range of customer sites. You will perform scheduled servicing, diagnose faults, and deliver high-quality workmanship on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience
• Current, relevant trade qualifications and all applicable licences
• Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (ESV)
• Full Victorian driver’s licence with clean history
• Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass a National Police Check if required

About the role

You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heating and cooling systems across a range of customer sites.

Your work will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently

• Identifying issues and recommending appropriate solutions

• Ensuring all work meets relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements

• Providing professional, reliable service to customers

• Maintaining accurate service records and completing required documentation

About you

You'll be an experienced, fully qualified Refrigeration Mechanic who takes ownership of your work and understands the importance of quality, safety and customer service.

To be considered, you must have:

• A minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience preferred

• Relevant, current trade qualifications and all applicable licences and registrations required for the role

• A current Disconnect/Reconnect Licence issued by Energy Safe Victoria (ESV)

• A full, current Victorian driver's licence with a satisfactory driving history

• A Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one

• The ability to pass a National Police Check, if required
