Job summary

OnTemp Refrigeration & Air Conditioning in Cairns QLD is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing local team. You’ll work across commercial, industrial and marine systems, including reef boats, cold rooms and breakdowns.

You should hold a Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, 3–5+ years of experience, valid Refrigerant Handling Licence, Restricted Electrical Licence and a current Australian driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
• 3–5+ years' commercial refrigeration experience.
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Current Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Pride in workmanship and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work across commercial, industrial and marine refrigeration.
• Fault finding and diagnostics across reef boats, vessels, cold rooms and systems.
• Installations, upgrades and preventative maintenance.
• Breakdown response and proactive maintenance.

We’re looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

The Role

What We're Looking For

You’ll need:

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• 3–5+ years' commercial refrigeration experience
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Current Restricted Electrical Licence
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and job ownership
• Pride in your workmanship
• A good attitude
