Job summary

The Refrigeration Co is looking for a qualified Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join a Perth-based specialist dedicated to commercial refrigeration. You will develop into a strong commercial refrigeration specialist and work with an experienced team across hospitality, healthcare and cold storage sites.

We value reliability, attitude and genuine interest in refrigeration, with two years of post-trade experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Restricted Electrical Licence.
• White Card.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Two years of post-trade experience preferred, but attitude and reliability matter more.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain and install commercial refrigeration equipment across hospitality, healthcare, cold storage and other commercial sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance, address breakdowns and installations of rack systems, self-contained units, cool rooms and related equipment.

COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

100% Refrigeration | No Air Conditioning

The Refrigeration Co. is a Perth-based commercial refrigeration specialist. We do not do any air conditioning, and we do not service major supermarket chains.

We’re looking for a qualified technician who either already has commercial refrigeration experience or genuinely wants to develop into a strong commercial refrigeration specialist.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

• $50–$55 per hour + super, based on experience
• Higher rates considered for strong commercial refrigeration experience
• $2000 Sign-on bonus paid at 3-months
• Overtime paid in addition to your ordinary hours
• 2.30pm finish on Fridays

• Perth metro work, home every night

THE WORK

You’ll diagnose, repair, maintain and install commercial refrigeration equipment across hospitality, healthcare, cold storage and other commercial sites.

Our work includes preventative maintenance, breakdowns and installations of:

• Cool rooms and freezer rooms
• Self-contained commercial fridges, freezers and ice machines
• Condensing units and evaporators
• Process chillers and specialised refrigeration equipment
• Rack systems

ABOUT YOU

You are a reliable technician who takes pride in your workmanship. You communicate well, can complete your job reports promptly and are comfortable taking responsibility for your work.

Commercial refrigeration experience is highly regarded, but we will also consider an experienced air conditioning service technician who is serious about specialising in commercial refrigeration instead.

You will need:

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• White Card
• Current driver’s licence

Two years of post-trade experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and genuine interest in refrigeration matter much more.
