Job summary

Jumbo is seeking a reliable Yard Labourer for our Narangba recycling yard. This casual, site-based role involves sorting recovered materials, keeping the yard and equipment clean, and supporting plant operators and drivers.

The ideal candidate understands safety-first work practices, can handle physical tasks, and communicates well with team members. A current driver's licence and transport are preferred, with opportunities to gain formal tickets over time.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and long periods of standing.
• Committed to safety, following procedures and SWMS.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick, sort and separate recovered materials.
• Maintain yard and equipment to a good standard.
• Clean and maintain machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with dust suppression around the site.
• Keep site clean and orderly; report hazards.
• Support plant operators, drivers and maintenance staff daily.
• Always work safely, wear PPE and follow safety rules.
