Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting for an operator at our client's Material Recovery Facility in Queensland. You will sort recyclable materials as they move along a conveyor, remove waste to prevent damage to plant equipment, and ensure items are sorted into correct areas by type, size, condition or colour.

You will report any system problems to management promptly. This on-site role supports the recycling process and helps the facility maintain efficient, safe operations in a busy plant environment

• Check materials and sort into designated areas by type, size, condition, or colour
• Report system problems immediately to management

About the Role:

Our Material Recovery Facilities ( MRF) are recycling plants. All the recycling bins come to us and our job is to sort them so that we can turn our rubbish into paper, glass, re-usable plastic and metal.
