Responsibilities

  • Review recruitment plan, daily vacancies, and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Source candidates via database, job boards, and talent pools.
  • Create job orders and job ads.
  • Conduct outbound candidate screening conversations.
  • Assess candidate fit against role requirements and criteria.
  • Build relationships with prospective candidates and refer to roles.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and keep recruitment records up to date.
  • Attend client meetings via Teams and provide activity updates.
  • Collaborate with Resourcer to engage talent for bulk campaigns.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our team for a full time labour hire position starting at 3 months with potential extension. This role is ideal for someone highly organised and enjoys sourcing talent, building candidate relationships and working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.

About the Role

Working alongside a dedicated Resourcer, you will play a key role in supporting large-scale recruitment campaign for a Federal Government client.

  • Reviewing clients recruitment plan and advertised vacancies daily and developing sourcing strategies to attract suitable talent.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates through the database, job boards and talent pools.
  • Create job orders and job ads
  • Conducting outbound candidate engagement screening conversations.
  • Assessing candidate suitability against role requirements and key selection criteria.
  • Building relationships with prospective candidates and referring them to roles/talent pools
  • Managing candidate pipelines and maintaining accurate records within recruitment systems.
  • Attending client meetings via teams and providing updates and recruitment activity reports.
  • Working closely with a dedicated Resourcer to identify and engage high-quality talent for bulk recruitment campaigns.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate sourcing or recruitment coordination.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and talent mapping capabilities.
  • Excellent phone-based engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence screening candidates and assessing suitability against role requirements.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
  • High organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working within high-volume or bulk recruitment environments.
