Job summary

CVL is recruiting a hands-on recruitment operator to lead high-volume sourcing for blue-collar and trades roles in Victoria. You will own the talent pool, screen candidates, manage offers and ensure right-to-work compliance, reporting to the CEO and coordinating with Operations.

You will build systems and dashboards, align forecasts with site demand, and implement end-to-end recruitment workflows in a start-up environment. Experience scaling a resourcing function is desirable.

• Experience in labour hire, construction or high-volume blue‑collar recruitment.
• Built a talent pool or resourcing function from ground up.
• Experience using recruitment and workforce management technologies.

About the role

This is a leadership role for a hands‑on recruitment operator who can build a high-volume worker pipeline from zero. You will own sourcing and pre‑qualification, align the talent pool to forecast site demand and help establish the technology, processes and reporting required to move the right workers to the right sites. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the Onboarding Coordinator and partner closely with Operations.

What you'll do

About you

• You have labour hire, construction or high-volume blue-collar recruitment experience
• You have built a talent pool or resourcing function from the ground up
• You have used recruitment and workforce management technologies
• You understand Awards, EBAs, Fair Work and right‑to‑work requirements
• You balance compliance discipline with practical solutions for site-based hiring
• You are comfortable building systems and delivering results in a start‑up environment
• Experience scaling a resourcing function is desirable

• Worker supply meets forecast site demand
• The pre‑qualified worker pool exceeds agreed targets
• Sourcing‑to‑pre‑qualification conversion improves
• Worker compliance is complete before placement
• Worker no‑shows are minimised
