Job summary

CVL is building its founding team ahead of launch in the Victorian construction market. We are seeking a senior, hands-on operations leader to connect site demand with worker supply, safety and accreditation.

You will own demand planning, worker allocations, and WHS systems, ensure licensing and compliance meet client and statutory requirements, and report to the CEO. Scheduling reporting to you will involve collaboration with the Recruiting Manager and field teams.

Qualifications

• Senior operations experience in construction labour hire or with a contractor.
• Ability to connect workforce demand, allocations, capability and deployment.
• Comfort with governance systems, audits and reporting.
• Project or business management experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with ISO accreditations and scaling environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

About us

CVL is a new labour hire business entering the Victorian construction market. Well-funded and established by industry leaders with a successful long-term track record, we are now building our founding team ahead of launch.

About the role

This is a senior, hands‑on operations role responsible for the engine that connects site demand, worker supply, safety and accreditation. You will lead demand planning and allocations, own CVL's WHS systems and reporting, and ensure our workforce capability, licensing and compliance meet client and statutory requirements.

Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with the Recruiting Manager, field supervisors, host clients and the internal team, with Scheduling reporting to you.

What you'll do

• Maintain a forward view of site demand, workload and workforce capability gaps
• Lead worker allocations and match supply to site capability requirements
• The key operational link between field supervisors, host clients and the recruiting team
• Own CVL's safety systems, performance, reporting and continuous improvement
• Coordinate worker training against site requirements and identified capability gaps
• Maintain accreditations, governance and systems
• Oversee equipment and PPE procurement to support safe and effective deployment

About you

• You hold a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• You have operations experience in construction labour hire or with a contractor
• You have managed tier-1 client safety and compliance requirements
• You can connect workforce demand, allocations, capability and deployment
• You are comfortable owning governance systems, audits, and reporting
• Project or business management experience is highly regarded
• Experience with ISO accreditations, start‑up or scaling environments is desirable
