Job summary

Prince of Wales Hospital in NSW is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Recovery Unit. You will oversee staffing allocation and workforce management, coordinating across AM and PM shifts, reporting to the Nurse Manager Operations during business hours and the After Hours Nurse Manager after hours.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA registration and NSW license.
Management qualification or equivalent experience in health care.
Experience in delivery and management of health care services.
Proven ability to lead and develop clinical teams in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct and coordinate staffing for the Recovery Unit.
Ensure safe and efficient nursing/midwifery practice with quality improvement.
Coordinate nursing/midwifery and multi-disciplinary teams at unit level.
Oversee business and management functions of the ward or unit.
