Our client, a Regional Queensland Council, is seeking an experienced Records & Administration Officer to support records management and general administration functions in a remote regional community.
This casual contract commences as soon as possible and runs to 18 December 2026. Accommodation and travel to and from the community are provided by the Council. Australian or New Zealand citizenship or a valid visa to live and work in Australia is required.

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Records & Administration Officer to support the Council’s records management and general administration functions. This is a casual contract commencing as soon as possible with an expected end date of 18th of December 2026.
Daily responsibilities are expected to include:
Recent Local Government experience is essential. You will have practical records management and administration experience, strong attention to detail and confidence using electronic document and records management systems.
You will be organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities while working effectively in a remote regional environment.
This is an immediate short-term contract through to 18 December 2026. Accommodation in addition to travel to and from the community will be covered by the Council. Any extension will depend on Council requirements and will be advised in advance.
