ACT Health, Canberra Health Services, is seeking a Records Digitisation and Forms Officer to manage the Clinical Forms Register and lead the digitisation of clinical records. You will coordinate form design, development and approval processes, ensuring compliance with privacy rules and Australian Standards.
The role involves liaising with external stakeholders to integrate forms into the Digital Health Record and supporting health information services across CHS facilities.

The Decision Support Unit is led by an Executive Group Manager reporting to the Chief Finance Officer within Canberra Health Services.
The DSU plays a key role in promoting accountability to achieve strategic goals and building organisational capability to align Activity Based Funding and Operational Planning. The DSU also provides ICT Services for CHS, data quality, Health Information Services, and decision support services to enable operational and non-operational planning and quality reporting.
Health Information Services supports a wide network of tertiary health services, including The Canberra Hospital, University of Canberra Hospital, North Canberra Hospital, Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Drug Services, Walk in Centres, Community Health Centres and specialist outpatient services. Health Information Services provides a range of functions, including scanning, health record management, release of information, patient identifier maintenance, chart correction, health record forms design and managing access to personal health information to facilitate patient care follow-up, quality improvement, education and hospital management purposes.
The Record Digitisation and Forms Officer is responsible for maintaining the Clinical Forms Register and coordinating the design, development, review and approval of clinical records forms and templates. This includes coordinating and liaising with external stakeholders on the digitisation and integration of forms in the Digital Health Record.
This position requires an in-depth working knowledge of Australian Standards, as well as all procedures related to health record management and legislation around privacy.
