Job summary

Boldbridge Group’s The Bower Tree at Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our family‑oriented community club. You will warmly welcome guests, manage membership data, handle bookings for the restaurant, and keep patrons informed about promotions and events.

This full‑time role (38 hours per week) requires RSA certification (or the ability to obtain it), outstanding customer service, and the ability to work across seven days with a positive, presentable

Qualifications

• RSA certification (or ability to obtain) is required.
• Hospitality or club environment experience is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work 7 days a week, including days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out RSA in line with Club Policy and legislative requirements.
• Keep patrons up to date with Club promotions, functions, events and activities.
• Process membership applications and data entry.
• Manage restaurant bookings and related reservations.
• Welcome guests with a warm greeting and provide entry information.

Job description

The Bower Tree at Sippy Downs, located on the stunning Sunshine Coast, is one of Queensland’s most modern Community Clubs. We are a family-orientated community club that is only 3 years old.

We are currently seeking suitable candidates to join our team within our Reception,

Duties could include:

Carry out RSA in line with Club Policy and legislative requirements

Keeping patrons up to date with Club’s promotions, functions, events and activities

Membership applications and data entry

Bookings (Restaurant) management

Ensuring guests receive a warm greeting and Club entry information

38 hours per week Full Time

Candidates will possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:

A "can do" attitude, excellent attention to detail & great customer service skills

A friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation

High level interpersonal skills

RSA certification (or ability to obtain)

Experience working in a club within the Hospitality industry is desirable

Ability to work under pressure and adhere to policies and procedures

Availability 7 days a week including days and nights
