Job summary

Hervey Bay RSL and Burpengary Community Club in Fraser Coast, QLD is seeking an experienced Bar & Gaming Attendant to join our friendly, professional team. You will manage bar and gaming operations, deliver exceptional service and maintain safety and hygiene standards while working a flexible casual roster.

Requirements include RSA and RSG certificates, ability to work across shifts including weekends, and a team-focused attitude. Eligible to obtain a Police Check is required.

Qualifications

• Current RSA and RSG certificates are required.
• Must be eligible to obtain a National Police Certificate for employment.
• Awareness of HACCP Food Hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring smooth operation of the bar and gaming facilities.
• Accurately recording transactions on the register.
• Maintaining clean and tidy work area.
• Follow safe work procedures.
• Make beverages – including cocktails and coffee.

About the Role ...

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and professional Bar & Gaming Attendant who will bring their knowledge and experience to the team while continuing to develop their current skills

The Role

Ensuring the smooth operation of the bar and gaming facilities at Hervey Bay RSLClub, reporting to the Floor Managers

Responsibilities include:-

• Accurately recording transactions on the register
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Adhering to RSA & RSG policies
• Making of all beverages – including cocktails and coffee
• Maintaining clean and tidy work area
• Follow safe work procedures

Job requirements

To be considered for this role, youMUSThave relevant experience, skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry and required certificates:-

• Current RSA and RSG statement of attainments
• Must be eligible to gain a National Police Certificate for employment
• Gaming Machine experience – payouts and machine vaults
• TAB experience
• Barista skills an advantage
• Be a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow direction
• Awareness of HACCP Food Hygiene
• Team worker, pleasant vibrant personality
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Hours of Work

Casual hours, Weekly roster. Shifts range from early morning starts to very late finishing times. Must be available days, nights, weekends, public holidays and split shifts
