Job summary

Hervey Bay RSL and Burpengary Community Club in Fraser Coast QLD is seeking an energetic Food and Beverage Attendant for casual, weekend-friendly shifts.

You will report to Restaurant and Café Supervisors and handle transactions, beverage preparation, meal delivery, and table service while upholding RSA/RSG standards and HACCP.

A friendly, professional environment with ongoing training and free on-site parking accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality.
• Current RSA and RSG certificates.
• Must be eligible to obtain a National Police Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording transactions on the register.
• Adhering to RSA and RSG policies.
• Making of all beverages in café.
• Delivering meals and clearing plates.
• Competently taking orders.
• Preparing and serving meals.
• Preparing the Bistro for operation including cutlery, decorations and accompaniments.

About the Role ...

We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Attendant who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills to ensure the smooth operation of the Hervey Bay RSL Club's food service facilities.

Reporting to the Restaurant and Café Supervisors, your key responsibilities will include:

• Accurately recording transactions on the register

  accompaniments
• Following safe work procedures

This role has casual hours, with a weekly roster. Shifts range from early morning starts to very late finishing times. Must be available days, nights, weekends, public holidays and split shifts.

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.
