Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Ballarat is seeking a professional Receptionist – Front of House & Sales Support to greet customers, manage the reception and coordinate calls. You will play a key role in delivering the premium customer experience expected from the dealership.

This role blends customer service with café management, and involves assisting with vehicle deliveries and handovers alongside the Sales Team. A friendly, organised, and proactive approach is essential, with barista experience considered

Qualifications

• Experience in reception, customer service or retail is preferred.
• Barista experience is an advantage; training can be provided.
• A current driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and guests to the dealership
• Managing our reception and Front of House area
• Answering and coordinating incoming telephone calls
• Directing customer enquiries to the appropriate department
• Taking and communicating accurate messages
• Ensuring our customer lounge is welcoming and well presented
• Offering and preparing refreshments for customers and guests
• Managing the day-to-day presentation and operation of our customer café and refreshment area
• Assisting with new vehicle stock deliveries and associated processes
• Working with our Sales Team to coordinate customer vehicle deliveries
• Assisting with vehicle handover preparations
• Scheduling and preparing for customer delivery appointments
• Preparing customer handover materials and documentation

Mercedes-Benz Ballarat is looking for a professional, friendly and highly organised Receptionist – Front of House & Sales Support to join our team.

As one of the first people our customers meet when they visit or contact our dealership, you’ll play an important role in creating the premium customer experience expected from Mercedes-Benz Ballarat.

This is much more than a traditional reception position.

You’ll enjoy a varied role combining customer service, reception, telephone coordination, customer lounge and café management, new vehicle deliveries and sales support.

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and guests to the dealership
• Managing our reception and Front of House area
• Answering and coordinating incoming telephone calls
• Directing customer enquiries to the appropriate department

Previous experience in reception, customer service or the automotive industry would be an advantage but is not essential.

Barista experience would also be an advantage; however, training can be provided.

A current driver’s licence is required.
