Job summary

The Royal Sydney Golf Club in Rose Bay is seeking a part-time Reception/Administration team member to help create a seamless member and guest experience. You’ll handle inquiries, bookings for accommodation and dining, and assist with check-ins/check-outs while supporting retail and service operations.

Roles are 15-25 hours per week with shifts from 5:30am to 9:30pm on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Reception or admin related role.
• Demonstrated passion for customer service.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest standard of service to members and guests.
• Ensure the Club’s rules and regulations are adhered to including enforcing the dress regulations.
• Assist members and guests with all enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Organise bookings for accommodation, confirming requests prior to check in.
• Perform check-ins and outs for accommodation.
• Organise bookings for Dining Room/Club Bar.
• Remain up to date at all times with the day’s meetings, fixtures and upcoming events in the Green Book.
• Order taxis/ubers for members and guests as required.
• Assist members and guests with purchases in the Cellar Door, and other Reception based retail initiatives.

The role:

Reporting into the Clubhouse Operations Manager you will be the hub of information, responsible for creating a seamless member & guest experience and delivering exceptional service levels.
This is a part-time role offering 15-25 hours a week, requiring availability to work during the week, weekends and on public holidays (rotating roster) with shifts ranging between5.30am starts to 9.30pm finishes.

Key tasks include:
