The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing is seeking a professional Reception Services Officer in Sale. This role provides the first point of contact for clients, staff and visitors, delivering accurate information and guiding them to the correct program areas.
You will maintain a welcoming, professional manner, handle enquiries by assessing needs and responding promptly, and work with colleagues to ensure high-quality customer service in line with departmental values.
The Reception Services Officer role is a critical position within the office as it provides the first impression of the organisation and fulfils the critical role in assisting clients, staff, visitors, contractors and other stakeholders. The role ensures customers are provided with accurate information and referred to the correct program area. The position is critical in ensuring customer service is delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with departmental values.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process. Preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
