Job summary

Australian Radio Network in Australia’s Victoria seeks an experienced traffic and radio content professional to oversee its AI traffic platform, ensuring accurate, local bulletins across metro and regional markets.

You will review scripts, manage real-time deadlines, and collaborate with News, Content and Technology teams to roll out new features while maintaining broadcast standards and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

Experience in radio, news, traffic, or real-time content environments.
Broadcast-quality voice with strong presentation skills.
Strong geographical knowledge of Australian markets and terminology.
Experience using live data feeds and dashboards; comfortable with AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee ARN’s AI traffic platform, ensuring accurate, timely and locally relevant bulletins across metro and regional markets.
Review scripts and audio for accuracy, relevance, pronunciation and tone before playout.
Correct, reject or regenerate unsuitable bulletins, activating fallback and escalation when required.
Improve platform performance by recording corrections, updating market rules and reporting recurring issues.
Partner with News, Content and Technology teams to resolve quality issues and support new platform features and market rollouts.
