Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Canberra, ACT, is seeking a Project Manager to independently manage multiple project lifecycles from initiation through handover and closeout. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee budgets, schedules, and risk, and deliver high-quality outcomes for stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and 6+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in design, construction, or project management.

Qualifications

• A degree in a Project or Construction Management related discipline and six years’ experience or more, including ten years total experience.
• Four of the years must be related to Design, Construction, or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly project deliverables are completed, including Project Delivery Plans, Monthly Status Reports, Anticipated Cost Reports, and Meeting Agendas/Minutes.
• Establish project budgets in accordance with client requirements and manage expenditures to stay within budget.
• Develop a detailed project programme with milestones and objectives for successful delivery.
• Maintain an up-to-date risk register and prepare PCG reports for meetings.
• Lead weekly project meetings and ensure timely minutes and agendas are issued.
• Lead value engineering, buildability analysis, and assist in reviewing design to minimize risk and maximize outcomes.
• Oversee contract negotiation, administration, and ensure proper execution with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements across all project activities.
