Job summary

Suncorp Group in Brisbane or Sydney is seeking a Procurement Leader for Real Estate to deliver category management across capital works, facilities management, leasing, utilities and physical services. You will lead sourcing, contracting and supplier performance to drive commercial value and manage risk.

Based in Brisbane or Sydney, the role involves collaborating with business owners, legal teams and suppliers, developing category strategies, and managing contracts.

Qualifications

• At least five years of procurement experience in a medium or large organisation.
• Experience across capital works, facilities management and other real estate categories.
• Apply working knowledge of Australian Standard contracts.
• Use advanced strategic sourcing, vendor management, negotiation and commercial analysis skills.
• Interpret contractual, legal, regulatory and risk requirements with sound commercial judgement.
• Manage concurrent priorities using structured procurement and project management approaches.
• A collaborative team-player attitude with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop category plans and sourcing strategies using market intelligence, contract data and spend analysis.
• Lead procurement for minor capital works, facilities management and other real estate categories.
• Manage sourcing, negotiation and contracting activities to deliver commercial value and reduce risk.
• Establish competitive contracts with appropriate service levels, governance and performance measures.
• Manage supplier performance, renewals, extensions, variations and escalated disputes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to improve demand management, service delivery and procurement outcomes.
