Job summary

Join Suncorp as a Real Estate Procurement specialist on a fixed-term contract until approximately Aug/Sep 2027, with a hybrid work pattern. Based preferably in Brisbane or Sydney, you will lead category management across capital works, facilities management, leasing, utilities and other real estate services while collaborating with business owners, legal and suppliers.

You’ll develop category strategies, drive sourcing and manage contracts to support commercial, risk and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least five years of procurement experience in a medium or large organisation.
• Experience across capital works, facilities management and other real estate categories.
• Apply working knowledge of Australian Standard contracts.
• Use advanced strategic sourcing, vendor management, negotiation and commercial analysis skills.
• Interpret contractual, legal, regulatory and risk requirements with sound commercial judgement.

About the Role

Join a leading Trans-Tasman Insurer and further develop your Real Estate Procurement expertise! You will deliver category management across capital works, facilities management, leasing, utilities and physical services. The broad remit also includes vehicles, relocations within buildings and mobile hubs. Working with business owners, legal teams and suppliers, you will develop category strategies, lead sourcing activities and manage contracts that support commercial, risk and customer outcomes.

This fixed term role runs until approximately August or September 2027, with the possibility of extension. Based preferably in Brisbane or Sydney, you will work from the office two days each week.
