Job summary

Gilbert + Tobin seeks a Knowledge and Practice Innovation specialist within the Real Assets group to lead knowledge systems development and drive market-leading initiatives. You will collaborate with KPI and Transformation Lawyers to improve efficiency and yield high‑quality insights.

The role offers part‑time flexibility and the opportunity to influence content, training and thought leadership for real asset transactions and asset management across the firm.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ post‑admission transactional experience.
• Experience across real assets including real estate and infrastructure.
• Specialist knowledge relevant to real asset transactions and asset management.
• Excellent writing and drafting skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to a group.
• Experience with knowledge systems and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Champion the KPI strategy and support KPI initiatives across Real Assets and the firm.
• Communicate with and manage key stakeholders, including the Director of Knowledge Systems and Real Assets Partners.
• Enable the flow of legal information within the Real Assets group and between practice groups and clients.
• Contribute to thought leadership, market insights and client-facing content for the Real Assets group.
• Draft and collate written content for the group, including precedents and Knowledge & Learning guides.
• Coordinate with lawyers and paralegals to prepare content; supervise paralegals.
• Work with Transformation Lawyers to create and test workflows and AI initiatives.
• Curate and maintain practice group content in knowledge systems.
• Provide guidance to lawyers as a trusted resource and develop a training strategy for Real Assets.
• Lead innovation and process improvement projects across Real Assets and the firm.
